Klaus Schulze has died during the making of this release. So after Edgar another great chief of Electronic Music has left us.

The first time I heard a Mellotron was of course with 'Strawberry Fields', not knowing what it was. Later, when I got into TD, it took me a little while to understand what was going on and a little more to appreciate it.

A few decades later the Memotron, a collaboration between another outstanding musician, Klaus 'Cosmic' Hoffmann-Hoock, and the people of Manikin Elektronic, saw the light of day.

It has brought back the possibility of using the famous sounds on stage without having to maintain a very delicate historic machine and, of course, without computers.

I'm in love with these sounds and so I've added a Memotron to my setup. Without being a master of any kind of *tron, however, I'm trying to stick a little to the historic ways of EM. Sounds from the Memotron can be heard on tracks 1 and 8.
